Edward G. Eversley, age 63, passed away April 20, 2024 at Coney Island Hospital, Brooklyn. He was diagnosed with a rare cancer late September 2022 and given only 2-3 months to live. By the Grace of God, he lived over a year longer and was comfortable most of the time. This gave his family and friends a chance to spend more time with him. Edward was a non-verbal autistic adult under the care of Heartshare Services of NY. He resided at Russo Home in Sheepshead Bay where many loving staff members and residents were his second family. He was also cared for by Calvary Hospice who monitored him and kept his pain at bay. Edward was able to enjoy his 63rd birthday party on March 30th at Russo Home with his sisters Julie and Jeanne included. He was an angel here on Earth and now resides with our Lord in Heaven in his most peaceful and perfect state.

Edward is survived by his mother Catherine, sisters Ellen Wall Bronikowski, Julie Buys and Jeanne Eversley, aunts Elizabeth Ryan and May Buehler, niece Amanda Wall, nephews Matthew, Greg and John Buys, brother-in-law Leonard Buys and many cousins.
