Diab A. Hatoum, lover of language, music and the Newspaper of Record, died on November 28th at 77. Diab was born in Haifa, Palestine on October 12, 1940. He is survived by his three daughters, Mona, Lana and Dina as well as his partner in crime, Gada. A global citizen, he lived in the Middle East and Europe before settling in New York City in 1976. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, at 7PM sharp - just in time for Jeopardy!
