On Monday, May 30th, 2022, Dennis Lundrigan passed away after a brief illness.
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Bay Ridge, Dennis spent his youth between Our Lady of Angels parish and in the family's country house in the Catskill Mountains. He remained a resident of Bay Ridge his entire life.
He studied engineering and graduated with degrees from Manhattan College and the Stevens Institute of Technology. As an electrical engineer Dennis worked on programs vital to the security of our Armed Forces.
Dennis traveled extensively both for business and pleasure. Whether skiing expert slopes in the Alps or spending months in the field installing high tech communications equipment he approached both with enthusiasm and humor.
Dennis was devoted to his family and could always be counted on to help out at our family gatherings (his Stromboli was a favorite at holiday dinners). He was generous to his nieces and nephews and earned the nickname Uncle D-Dog from his goddaughter.
Later in life he moved to the information technology industry and held an office job in Manhattan. During this time he followed in his father's footsteps restoring fine furniture and provided great comfort to the family by helping to care for his elderly mother.
Dennis is predeceased by his father Alphonsus, his mother Christine, and his brother Alphonsus. He is survived by his sisters Carol and Alice and his brothers Charles and Patrick who will dearly miss his wit and charm.
