Dennis Walter Larsen passed away after a long illness.
Beloved husband of Susan Larsen (nee Moa). Loving father of Karen Haig (Billy) and Keith (Theresa). Dear brother of Maureen Coopey (Thomas), Walter (Aileen), David (Donna). Cherished Pop-Pop to Emma, Shea, Jack, Billy Jr., and one more on the way. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Loving friend to many.
Dennis was born on January 25th, 1954 to Marion and Walter (Red) Larsen; along with his adored twin sister Kathleen Mullin. He was always kind, compassionate, and a loving person.
Dennis met the love of his life, Susan, on August 21, 1972 (49 years). They were married at Bethany Lutheran Church, September 18, 1976. Together they had two children that he cherished with all of his heart. The grandchildren that followed added more joy and love to the "Larsen" home.
Sunday dinners, watching baseball and football games, birthdays and holidays were a few of his favorite things.
Dennis worked at the N.Y. Shipyard for twenty years and then was a "Senior" for the Department of Environmental Protection for twenty years. He was a hard worker and had many friends from both places.
It's hard to turn the page when someone you love so dearly won't be in the next chapter. You will be terribly missed, until we meet again.
Thank You,
Clavin Funeral Home
