Deacon Thomas G. Davis returned to God on July 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family and the faith that guided his life. Beloved husband of Catherine. Loving father of Christopher, Stephanie, and Thomas Jr. (Kelly). Cherished Pop Pop of Gianna Catherine and Emilia Anne.
Deacon Tom dedicated his life to faith, family, and service. A man of remarkable determination and perseverance, he worked tirelessly while attending law school at night, earning his law degree from Brooklyn Law School. Through hard work, integrity, and unwavering dedication, he built a respected career as an accomplished attorney.
His greatest calling, however, was his ministry. As a devoted deacon of his childhood parish, Saint Anselm Church, Deacon Tom faithfully served his parish community for many years with humility, compassion, and kindness. Whether assisting at the altar, comforting those in need, or simply offering a warm smile and encouraging word, he touched countless lives. To the parishioners of Saint Anselm, Deacon Tom was not only a deacon, but a trusted friend, mentor, and faithful servant of God. His children took great pride in witnessing their dad fulfill his ministry.
Above all, Deacon Tom treasured his family. He found his greatest joy in spending time with those he loved, especially his beloved granddaughters, who lovingly call him “Pop Pop.” His eyes lit up whenever he was with them. To him, they did no wrong and to them, he was everything. His example of faith, perseverance, generosity, and unconditional love will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
