Darinka Kovacic passed  away on January 2, 2022 at the age of 92. She was born in Banj, Croatia to Marija (Anica) and Josip Anticev. She was one of 5 children including Tomislav and Augustin (predeceased) and Josip and Miroslava.

Darinka married Sime Kovacic in 1949 and later joined him, along with their son Lovorko in Brooklyn, New York. Sime died in December 1991 and she remained in Brooklyn until her passing.

She is survived by her son Lovorko and his wife Jadranka, her cherished granddaughter, Stefanie and her husband Zachary and great grandson Whitaker.

She will be missed by all who knew her.
