DANIEL J HOLOHAN, JR.     September 28, 1938 - February 14, 2016. Daniel J Holohan Jr., of Sciota, Pennsylvania passed away on February 14, 2016 surrounded by his loving wife Mary and his family. Dan was born in Brooklyn and moved to Pennsylvania after raising his family in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, New York. Dan was proud to be a High Tension Lineman, and subsequently an Emergency Supervisor at Consolidated Edison, where he was a knowledgeable and valued employee for 37, years. Dan was known for his quick wit and sense of humor, leaving many people shaking their heads in disbelief with broad smiles on their faces. He was a strong and formidable man with a gentle heart and a generous soul. Dan was a spiritual man who loved God, and his family immensely. Dan was a lifelong hunter and fisherman, traits that he passed onto his two sons. He loved the outdoors and the peacefulness and serenity of "the country". He enjoyed the camaraderie of his friends that he developed both from his years in Brooklyn and Pennsylvania. Dan leaves behind Mary, who was truly the love of his life, his children, Christine Geoghegan and her husband (Rod), Daniel and his wife Catherine,his son, Bud, Laura Fregara and her husband Michael. He had 9 beautiful grandchildren, Lauren, Daniel, Elizabeth, Michael, Leah, William, Nina, Andrew and Daniel and his beloved brother, Richard.
