Obituary

Clifford Coffey, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, godfather, neighbor and friend passed on February 16, 2024, at the age of 64. Cliff is survived by his beloved wife, Donna (nee Pantaleo), his children, Clifford John and Kaitlyn, his sisters Patricia Allen (Ray Allen, predeceased), Maureen Soto (Oscar Soto) and Joyce Thorbjornsen (Carl Thorbjornsen), his sister in laws, Tara Milillo (Frank Milillo) and Madeline Pantaleo, and many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Helen, and his brothers, John, Jeffrey, and Georgie.

Cliff was born on September 23, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up on 58th between 7th and 8th Avenues where the foundation of many friendships he had throughout his life began. When he was 18, he fell in love with Donna. After 10 wonderful years, they married on December 2, 1988, and started to build their life together. In 1991, Cliff and Donna's house in Bay Ridge became a home when they welcomed their son Clifford John into their lives. In 1995, they were again blessed, this time with the birth of their daughter Kaitlyn. The four of them would enjoy many days together of laughter, adventure and love. Cliff was a lover of the Rangers, the Cowboys, his pigeons, his dog Daisy, and, above all else, his family. It is that love that Cliff gave and shared with many that he will be most remembered by.
