She was Trustee of her beloved parish, Our Lady of Angels in Brooklyn; Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and Lady Grand Cross of the Holy Sepulchre. She earned her BA and MA from St. John's University; taught Math at John Jay High School (ret); and enjoyed close friendships with Marion Sinnott and cousins Mary Jane McDonald and Eileen Tynion.
