Catherine M. Sullivan, known to those who loved her as "Pretty Kitty", the oldest of 4 children, was born on February 22,1933 in Brooklyn, NY to Patrick Larkin and Agnes (Connor) Larkin.

Kitty attended St Joseph's High School in Brooklyn and after graduating, worked at the FBI. She then married Bill, her childhood sweetheart and love of her life, in June of 1956 and together they raised 5 children. They were happily married for 62 years until Bill passed in 2019. Later in life, after raising her children, Kitty returned to the workforce and was employed at the High School of Telecommunications in Bay Ridge.

Kitty lived most of her life in Bay Ridge and most recently lived in Syracuse and New Jersey.

Kitty is pre-deceased by her daughter Susan and is survived by her children Daniel (Deborah), Kevin (Anja), Grace, William (Heidi) and Karen Baratta (Tim). Proud grandmother of Graham (Kristi), Zachary (Kadie), Chloe (Jerred), Sean, Danny (Gabriella), Kyra, Michael, Kiera, Bridget, Colin, Quinn, Annie, Connor, Owen and Erin. Great-grandmother to Kacen, Reagan, Rowan, Amelia, Austin & Roman.

Kitty will be missed by her sister Agnes, brothers Jim (Mary, deceased), Patrick (Jenny), and sister-in-law Gerry with whom she shared lifelong friendships as well as her many nieces and nephews with whom she shared a special bond. Kitty was a loving mom, sister, aunt, in-law, grandmother and a true friend to those who were lucky enough to know her. Many of her greatest joys in life came from entertaining, cooking and baking, shopping and spending time at her beach house at Gravelly Point in Highlands, New Jersey. Kitty never turned down a nice glass of Chardonnay or a good piece of chocolate!
