PRISCO, Catherine Ann (née McCarthy) - On April 4, 2018. Beloved mother of John F. Prisco. Loving daughter of the late Frank and Jane McCarthy. Dear sister of the late Michael McCarthy.
Catherine was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Angels (and previously, for many years, of Our Lady of Perpetual Help). At OLA she contributed to the CCD, RCIA, Arise and Bible study programs, and was particularly devoted to music ministry and leading her Spirituality Group's film-viewing series and group discussions. She was also an enthusiastic ecumenicist and a valued participant in various Bible study and interfaith action programs at Good Shepard Lutheran and Bay Ridge United Methodist.
Catherine possessed a gloriously generous soul, helped many a friend and neighbor, volunteered for and contributed to many charitable organizations, and had a deep love for our local Bay Ridge parks. In lieu of cut-flower funerary arrangements please consider making a donation in Catherine's name to one of the following:
