Catherine DeMeglio passed away peacefully on December 30, 2021, at the age of seventy-seven.  Cathy was born in Carroll Gardens to her father Christopher and her mother Carmelina.  Cathy was best known by her friends and family for her gregarious nature and contagious smile.  When she was not cooking or cracking jokes, Cathy was working.  Catherine's first business was Catherine DeMeglio's Brokerage where she acted as a liaison between insurance companies and her clients.  Catherine had a proclivity to travel and experience the joys that the world had to offer.  Her next business Town and Village Travel allowed her to help others do the same.  Catherine was the happiest when sharing in others joy, especially when she was the one creating it.

Catherine was very analytical, both in her entrepreneurship and in her leisure.  A problem solver at heart, her favorite show was Perry Mason and her favorite genre of novels was murder mysteries.  Catherine had the ability to know exactly what to say in times of stress, joy, indecision, and sadness.  She will be greatly missed by her husband Lawrence Jr., her daughter Christine, her son in-law John, her grandchildren Matthew and Elizabeth, her cousins, and by many others whose life she had touched.  She is now in heaven with her son Lawrence III.
