Carol Ann Sexton passed away on September 21, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family. Born on January 3, 1943, to Elinor & John Sexton, Carol grew up in the Bay Ridge & Bensonhurst neighborhoods of Brooklyn. She attended St. Ephrem Grammar School & Catherine McAuley High School, where she formed many lifelong friendships.

After earning her certificate from Catherine Gibbs Secretarial School, Carol embarked on a dedicated & successful career in various office positions throughout Manhattan. She ultimately retired from Chadbourne & Park Bank, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism, diligence & kindness.

Carol was a devoted daughter & loving sister to her younger twin brothers, John & Donald. She is survived by her beloved nieces & nephews; Bridget Harkin, John Sexton, Kelly Russo, Denis Sexton, Colin Sexton, Margaret Harkin, Therese Curry and Chrissy Unrein – as well as fourteen cherished grandnieces & grandnephews.

Carol will be remembered for the deep love she had for her family & friends, and for her appreciation of nature & art. Her warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
