Angelo Ralph Rubano MD, a lifelong resident of Brooklyn, NY passed away November 8, 2024. He attended PS 204, New Utrecht HS, New York University and University of Bologna's Medical School.

He was a compassionate surgeon for 45 years who served countless members of the community, through his work At Maimonides Hospital, Kings Highway Hospital, and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. He truly loved his work.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, attending the NY Philharmonic, fishing, and doing the NY Times crossword puzzle.

He was quick witted, loved to laugh and always put his family first.

In 1976 he married Joanne Watson.

He is survived by 3 children: Brian Marion; Angelo Joseph (Elizabeth); Kathryn Vlakic (Steven); grandchildren: Eva Loren, Angelo Robert, Vincenzo, and Mira Theresa Rubano; Marco, Luca and Rocco Vlakic.

He was predeceased by siblings, Olga Marino, Daniel Rubano, Frances Montanti, Robert Rubano, Rose Varlese, and Theresa Tudda.
