Alice Catherine Kerrigan passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at the age of 94. Born on November 24 in Ardfarna, County Donegal near Bundoran, Ireland. She was the oldest daughter of Dennis and Ellen (Clancy) Kerrigan.

Alice left Ireland as a young woman and spent time in London with her younger sister Eileen and had many adventures. Alice then made her way to America and worked professionally on Wall Street supporting many financial firms with her expertise and Irish wit and wisdom. She lived in Manhattan and Queens before settling in Bay Ridge Brooklyn in 1980. She was active in her parish and senior clubs in the neighborhood and travelled around the country with her friends. She was an active participant in her community garden in the shadow of the Verrazano Bridge and welcomed the advent of spring for her plants and flowers to rise again.

Alice is survived by her sisters Eileen Lucey (Danny) and Terry Hassett (Eoin) who reside in Ireland outside Dublin. She is predeceased by her brothers Patrick and Dennis. She is loved by all and especially by her nieces and nephews Adrian Kerrigan (Sandie), Deirdre Fellows, Ursula Kerrigan, Patricia DiCerto (David),  Alison Nixon (Drake), Gerard Lucey (Luba), Marian Smith (Paul) and Joanne Sarrazin (Chris) along with many great nephews and nieces. She loved all her family and spent many holidays with them all in Ireland and New York.
