Aleida L. (Diaz) Robatto, 81, was born in Cuba. She escaped Cuba to her beloved America in 1961. Aleida met the love of her life, William L. Robatto in NYC in 1963 and married just a few months later celebrating 58 years. They raised two daughters, Aleyda Meyers and Ana Catalfumo in Brooklyn, along with loving and nurturing all of their daughters' friends.

Aleida is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Michael and Mathew Catalfumo and Gabriella Meyers. She was everyone's grandmother. Quietly giving extra snacks and toys when their parents weren't looking.

Aleida lit up every room she was in with her mischievous smile. She hosted countless parties and holiday events and made everyone laugh and feel that they were home. Aleida enjoyed bargain hunting and shopping. She enjoyed vacations and trips with her adored husband. Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren.
