Aldona was the youngest among the 3 of us. We all graduated from the same elementary school: St. James Pro-Cathedral in Brooklyn and we all went to Catholic high schools. Aldona was a wonderful and sweet sister who went out of her way to help us and others. She was a very caring and loving person but very private as well.

She loved to go to the beach and movies and enjoyed occasional jazz shows at the Blue Note in New York. She was very proactive at her workplace as well as in the community being the president of the Vinegar Hill Association in Brooklyn. She was a very good cook as well.

Aldona also liked to travel in the US and spent some time in Long Island when she could and enjoyed making new friends wherever she went. She had many friends and was very considerate of others.

She took a month off from work to help me recover after my heart transplant in Minnesota back in 2016. She was so helpful to all of us and her fellow workers.

I, my sister Chris and longtime significant other Michael, grieve for you. You will be missed by all your friends and co-workers. We all love you and miss you deeply.
