Alan F. Gelb passed away peacefully on June 19, 2021.

The beloved husband of JoAnne Gelb (nee LaForte) for 30 years, Alan was a loving and joyful part of his family.

Alan was a master technician and man of many talents.  He could fix anything and was always willing to help a friend or family member.  He enjoyed scuba diving, skiing, and sunning himself on the beach.  But his most favorite thing to do was eat.  Alan loved good food, and he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He will be greatly missed by his son Lee Gelb and his wife Jessica and their two children, Bobby and Alyssa; his son, Kevin Gelb and his partner Courtney Plocica; his step-children, who he considered his children, Leo Reilly and his wife Caroline and their children, Leo and Megan Reilly, Angelica Reilly, and Brian and Kathleen Reilly; Terry Arleo and her partner Emmett Ryan and her children, Joey and Lizzy Arleo, and Joanna Arleo and her fiancé, Kristian Lewandowski; and Joe Cacciola and his wife Jennie Price and his son, Marco Cacciola; his brother-in-law Nick LaForte and his wife Jeanie Flewell, and their children, Rej and Anna.  Alan is survived by his beloved niece, Nicole LaForte and her partner Tom Dziedzic.  Alan loved his great-grandchildren, Leo, Ruby, and Remi.  He was pre-deceased by his stepson, John Reilly.
